Rain in the trees

Today was the first day back to work after 2 weeks of spring break, plus an extra 5 days of pre-wedding to-do's. I woke up to the rain gently bouncing off of the cement outside my bedroom window. I thought it was a nice way to wake up. Then I remembered...I have to go to work....so out of bed I sprang...yes, sprang and got dress and packed a lunch, took my morning blood sugar, meds and poured my coffee. Off I go down the rainy streets of my Southern California town. When I found a suitable parking spot, I stopped and took in the sights. I looked up and thought, cool looking tree. I think I will post it on the blog. The sun came out later in the day, but I will remember this day as a rainy one.
