When it is the 1st Thursday of the month, you will find me with a group of ladies who like to quilt and pray. We are a unique assemblage of women. More than half of us are teachers or work in a classroom. We all are over the age of 40. We have someone new at almost every meeting. We have been doing this for 5 months. It is never the same group of people. We always tie and pray, sometimes for people we know, but most times for people we don't. July's meeting produced 6 quilts.
